Biography

He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory Ballet Major (2015) and Yaşar University Graduate Education Institute Art and Design Master’s program with his graduation thesis named “Ballet in the Romantic Period and Examination of Giselle Ballet” (2021). He still continues his PhD program in Dokuz Eylül University Fine Art Institute Art and Design program.

He attended master classes at Staatstheater Augsburg and Ballet Akademie Erich Payer in Germany. There, he studied classical ballet, repertoire, accompaniment and character dance (2010). He attended classical ballet, repertoire, modern dance, dance technique and character dance workshops at the International Summer Ballet Academy in Bulgaria (2012). He completed his modern dance training within the scope of Martha Graham Dance Company Panaroma Project and took the stage with this dance group as part of the 28^th International Izmir Festival (2014). He performed in the role of King Kinyras in the ballet Venus and Adonis with music by Fazıl Say (2014). While he was continuing his undergraduate education, he started to work as a ballet dancer at Izmit State Opera and Ballet (2013). During eight years, he participated in many festivals such as the International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, the International Bodrum Ballet Festival, the International Istanbul Opera Festival, Eskişehir Opera and Ballet Festival, the International Izmir Festival and took the stage in Carmina Burana, the Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Vivaldi Four Seasons, La Traviata, Samson Dalila, Aida, Firebird, The Rite of Spring, Bach Alla Turca, The Lady of the Camellias and Carmen.

He carried out choreography studies, movement and dance techniques studies at State Theatres and university theatres. His article named “From Court to Theatre in the 18^th Century: Birth of the Ballet d’Action (Dramatic Ballet) was published in the Journal of the Interdisciplinary Art and Education Magazine. He performed the presentation of the same article at the 1^st International Symposium on Interdisciplinary Performing Arts and Education (ISIPAE, 2021).

He was appointed as a lecturer at Çukurova University State Conservatory and started to work as the Head of Ballet Department (2022). He is still the Head of Ballet Department at Çukurova University State Conservatory.
