MD SİBEL ÖNER YALÇIN

Biography

Sibel Oner Yalçın was born in 1968 in Düziçi district of Osmaniye. He completed his primary and secondary education in Düziçi and his high school education in Adana Health Vocational High School in 1985. He entered Sivas Cumhuriyet University Nursing School in 1985 and started to work as a nurse in Sivas Chest Diseases Hospital.
After graduating from nursing department in 1989, she worked as a nurse, responsible nurse and hospital supervisor in the internal medicine clinic of Adana Numune Hospital for three years starting from 1991. In 1992, she started her master program at Public Health Department of Çukurova University Medical Faculty. In 1994, he was appointed as a lecturer at Mustafa Kemal University Health Services Vocational School Nursing Department. She completed her master's program in 1996 with the thesis entitled "Descriptive Characteristics of Women who are Aborted (MR) in Adana Maternity Hospital".
He was appointed as a lecturer in 2000 in Çukurova University School of Health and was awarded a Ph.D. program in Çukurova University Institute of Health Sciences Medical History and Ethics Department in 2007 and titled "The Role of Conscience in Medical Activities of Nurses and Physicians: Started to work on thesis.
During his undergraduate and graduate education, Sibel Oner Yalçın has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Nursing at Çukurova University, Faculty of Health Sciences between 1985 and 1994 as a nurse. Sibel Oner Yalçın is married, has two children named Emre and Bilge Duygu.
