Özet

In this morphometric study, the ciliary ring, ciliary processes and ciliary plicae which reside in the ciliary body, were examined in New Zealand Rabbit. Both sides of the eyeballs of 20 adult New Zealand Rabbits were used. The width of ciliary ring were measured with calibers using stercomicroscope. In counting number of ciliary plicae was 301.07 +/- 2.36 number of ciliary process was 131.58 +/- 2. Quantitative distinctions between right and left eyeballs were no account in statistical. The average dorsoventral diameter of eyeball was 19.23 mm, temporo-nasal diameter of eyeball was 19.69 mm. the average dorso-ventral diameter of cornea was 14.28 mm, temporo-nasal diameter of cornea 14.50 mm, the average dorso-ventral diameter of pupil was 7.48 mm. temporo-nasal diameter of pupil was 7.19 mm, the average dorso-ventral diameter of ciliary ring was 15.94 mm. temporo-nasal diameter of ciliary ring was 15.84 mm.
