Prediction of regression analyses of fabric tensile strength of 100% cotton fabrics with yarn dyed in different constructions

The aim of this study is to obtain experimentally tensile strength of cotton woven fabrics and to determine empirical equations for predicting them before production. For this purpose, cotton 100% woven fabrics in different constructions were produced pre-treatment processes were applied to these fabrics and tensile strength of these fabrics were determined experimentaly. Then statistical analyses methods were applied to the experimental results using SPSS package programme, multiple regression equations were determined with tensile strength of the fabrics for predicting them before producing. A comparison was performed with tensile strength values of the empirical equations and experimental datas, the results were evaluated. The empirical equations have high correlation coefficient.
