Bu araştırmada, yetişkinlere yönelik ve marka bilinirliğine sahip bir özel kişisel gelişim kursunun kurumsal öğretim faaliyetlerine ilişkin kalite göstergelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Açıklayıcı durum çalışması deseninde yürütülen araştırma, Adana ilinde marka bilinirliğine sahip bir özel kişisel gelişim kursunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada görüşmeye, gözleme ve görüş formuna dayalı üç ayrı türde veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın görüşmeye dayalı verileri, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Gözleme dayalı veriler, katılımcı gözlem yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Görüş formları aracılığıyla ise eğitim kurumunun öğretmenlerinin ve öğrencilerinin kurumun öğretim faaliyetlerinin kalitesini gösteren uygulamaları hakkında yazılı olarak görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerinin tamamı, içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiş ve açık kodlama tekniği ile kodlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, kişisel gelişim kursunun kurumsal öğretim faaliyetlerinin kalitesi özellikle öğretim kadrosunun niteliği, öğretim süreçlerinin öğrenci tercihlerine ve ihtiyaçlarına uygun bir şekilde organize edilmesi ve ders saatleri dışında aktivite derslerinin düzenlenmesi ekseninde şekillenmektedir. Araştırmada, yetişkin eğitimi kurumunun kurumsal öğretim faaliyetlerinin kalitesinin sağlanmasındaki en önemli faktörün, esnek ve dinamik bir organizasyon anlayışı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the quality indicators regarding the institutional teaching activities of a private personal development course for adults with high brand awareness. This illustrative case study was carried out in a private personal development course with high brand awareness in Adana province. In the study, three different types of data were collected based on interview, observation and opinion form. Interview-based data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the participation of teachers and students. Observational data were obtained through participant observation. Written opinions of the teachers and students of the educational institution about the practices that show the quality of the educational activities of the institution were taken through the opinion forms. All of the data of the study were analyzed by content analysis and coded with open coding technique. According to the results, the quality of the institutional teaching activities of the personal development course is shaped especially by the quality of the teaching staff, the organization of the teaching processes in accordance with the preferences and needs of the students, and the organization of activity classes outside of regular class hours. The study concludes that the most important factor in ensuring the quality of institutional teaching activities of the adult education institution is a flexible and dynamic organizational understanding.
