Araştırma 2021-2022 döneminde Mersin ilinin Tarsus ilçesinde (36°50'58.9"N-35°02'54.8"E) bulunan ve denizden yüksekliği 5 m olan üretici parselinde yürütülmüştür. M9 elma anacı üzerine aşılı, Spindel budama sistemi uygulanmış, 10 yaşında Gala Buckeye çeşidinde dinlenmenin kırılması için farklı uygulamalar yapılmıştır (Levante, Erger + Active Erger, Brotstart, Dormex (Hidrojen Siyanamid) ve Kontrol (su)). Uygulamaların başarı durumlarını saptamak amacıyla, fenolojik gözlemler ve pomolojik analizler yapılmış ve verim değerleri incelenmiştir. Deneme alanının soğuk birikimi 506 soğuk birimi ve 698 saat olarak iki farklı yöntemle hesaplanmış olup, çeşidin sıcaklık toplamı 37835 saat olarak saptanmıştır. Uygulamaların dinlenmeden çıkış, verim ve kalite üzerinde kontrole göre olumlu etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Homojen çiçeklenme sağlaması ve meyve tutumunda Levante ve Erger + Active Erger uygulamaları, Dormex uygulamasından daha iyi sonuç verirken tüm uygulamaların verim bakımından kontrolden daha iyi etki gösterdiği saptanmıştır.
The research was carried out in the producer’s parcel, which is located in the Tarsus district of Mersin province (36°50'58.9"N-35°02'54.8"E) and has a height of 5 m from the sea in the 2021-2022 period. Spindel pruning system was applied, grafted on M9 apple rootstock, different applications were made to break dormancy in 10 years old Gala Buckeye variety (Levante, Erger + Active Erger, Brotstart, Dormex and Control (water)). In order to determine the success of the applications, phenological observations and pomological analyzes were made and yield values were examined. The cold accumulation of the experimental area was calculated with two different methods as 506 chill units and 698 hours, and the total temperature of the variety was determined as 37835 hours. It was determined that the applications had a positive effect on rest recovery, productivity and quality compared to the control. While Levante and Erger+ Active erger applications gave better results than Dormex application in providing homogeneous flowering and fruit set, all applications were found to have a better effect than control in terms of yield.
