Özet

In this study, important agricultural and quality characteristics of other thirteen different peanut varieties (HALISBEY, ARIOGLU-2003, SULTAN, FLOWER-22, OSMANIYE-2005, BRANTLEY, WILSON, BATEM-5025, BATEM-CIHANGIR, GEORGIA GREEN, FLORISPAN and NC V-11) alternative to the most cultivated NC-7 peanut variety in Osmaniye region were determined. The research was conducted in the experimental areas belonging to Oil Seeds Research Institute for two years (2015 to 2016) in the main crop conditions. The experiment was set up with 4 replications according to randomized block trial design. Important agricultural and quality characteristics such as pod number per plant, pod yield per plant, pod yield per da, 100 pod weight, 100 seed weight, kernel percentage, fancy pod percentage, oil ratio, protein ratio and fatty acid were investigated in the research.
