Abstract

This study looks into the contribution of the Religious Culture and Ethics Course (RCE) on the integration of Syrian children in Turkey. The research question is in what way this course has been helping these children their adaptation and adjustment to into the Turkish culture considering the fact that they are coming from slightly different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. To this end, interviews were held with a group of teachers who teach this class in Adana. This survey offered us interesting results as to how this course has been functioning within the context of the Syrian Children's education in Turkey.
