The data of this study, which was carried out of the investigation of the effect of geographically
indicated products in the context of scarcity of factors of production is essential. This study
was conducted with 343 producers at the beginning of 2021. Therefore, the present study aims
to contribute to the knowledge of these factors of production on farms in Turkey. A logistic
regression analysis was performed to study the factors that affect the agricultural production
of agricultural products. In the analysis, whether the farmer produces a Geographical
indication product (CIU) was taken as the dependent variable, and age, level of education,
occupation, social security, family size, number of family members working in business,
residence, agricultural production model, ownership of a tractor, irrigation facilities and how
many years of agricultural activity were taken as independent variables.
