Özet

Indigenous technical knowledge (ITK) is quite known to be the critical factor for sustainable development. Empowerment of local communities is a prerequisite for the integration of ITK into the development process as well as the conservation and improvement of biodiversity. Basic economic factors such as efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainable development have been enhanced by appropriate ITK systems integrated into many development programs.
