Coronavirus appeared in Wuhan, China's Hubei Province in December 2019. The virus, which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome and spreads rapidly, has become a global public health problem in a short time. It is spread from person to person through direct contact and droplet. Common symptoms in post-infectious cases are fever, cough and respiratory failure. It has been determined that the most effective method of preventing infection is isolation. In addition, nurses should take care of correct, effective and complete use of personal protective equipment in order to protect themselves and patients from the risk of infection.
