Abstract

Different subtypes producing the clinical picture of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and overlapping forms of GBS subtypes have been described. GBS as a complication in pregnancy has been reported rarely. The present report describes the clinical, electrophysiological and prognostic features of a pregnant woman with overlapping forms of GBS subtypes, acute motor axonal neuropathy and ophthalmoplegia.
