Özet

Apricot has been grown for many years in Turkey and has vast genetic resources. Presently, the morphological characteristics have been listed according to UPOV criteria that consist of 57 characters. In the morphological studies on 94 Turkish apricot genotypes that have been carried out at the Fruit Research Institute, Malatya/Turkey, one character not included in UPOV criteria was found to be important in the determination of apricot genotypes.
