The purpose of this research is to identify the potential educational uses of the
Teachable Machine (TM) and to provide a systematic framework for developing educational
activities using this application. Additionally, it aims to provide information on how TM has
been utilized in educational research. This research, developed based on qualitative
methods, conducted a content analysis of 11 studies in the field of education that used the
application. The review process was carried out using an evaluation form prepared by the
researchers. According to the research findings, it was observed that the TM has the
potential to encourage students' creativity, enrich their learning experiences, and enhance
their digital skills. However, it was determined that educational research often does not
sufficiently focus on these features of the application. Typically, studies aim to determine
whether students understand the logical operation of machine learning technology. In the
research, the process of developing activities with TM is summarized in five steps. These
steps are as follows: (1) Defining the purpose and objectives of the activity, (2) preparing
the dataset, (3) training the model, (4) testing the model, and (5) sharing and integrating
the activity. The research has provided recommendations for developing in-class
educational activities using these five steps.
