Özet

The purpose of the study is to take into consideration of the use of cultural items in the Turkish language Teaching books titled YENI HITIT, the mostly common used ones in the field. In order to reach the data, all the texts in these books are analyzed and the results show that the cultural items are not distributed equally throughout the units in the books.
