This study was conducted to determine the practices of preschool teachers within the scope of early literacy activities. Activities implemented in the preschool period have an important place in children's acquisition of early literacy skills in the preschool period. Early literacy activities are implemented as activities that allow the development of all components of language, including the process of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The study group consisted of 232 preschool teachers working in private and public education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. The data of the study were obtained with the "Questionnaire on Preschool Teachers' Practices of Early Literacy Activities" created by the researchers by examining the relevant literature. The questionnaire consists of three parts including the personal information of the participants, the type of activities for early literacy skills and the studies related to early literacy. In the first part of the form, items including demographic information such as professional seniority and educational status of the participants were included. In the second part, the scope of the activities applied for the participants' early literacy skills (verbal language development, vocabulary, phonological awareness, visual perception, letter awareness, print awareness, pre-writing), and in the third part, items to determine the thoughts of preschool teachers about early literacy in the classroom. Analyzes continue on the data obtained from the participants' responses regarding early literacy practices. Keywords: Early literacy, early literacy skills, preschool teacher.
