Sürdürülebilir kalkınma ve dijital ekonomi, son yıllarda sıklıkla kullanılan kavramların başında gelmektedir. Dijital ekonomi kavramının sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı etkileyen unsurlardan biri olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle bu iki kavram arasındaki ilişkiyi çeşitli yönleri ile ortaya koymak gerekmektedir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, AB üyesi ülkeler için dijital ekonomi göstergelerinin, sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla AB üyesi ülkeler için sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı temsilen “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri Endeksi” ve dijital ekonomiyi temsilen ise “Dijital Ekonomi ve Toplum Endeksi” ele alınmıştır. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma endeksine ait 17 hedef, faktör analizine tabi tutulmuş ve dört faktöre indirgenerek analize dahil edilmiştir. Yapılan yatay kesit regresyon analizi ile sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri ile ilgili çeşitli modeller kurulmuş ve anlamlı modeller yorumlanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda özellikle işletmelerin dijital teknoloji entegrasyonunun sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı pozitif yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Dijital Ekonomi, Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma, Faktör Analizi, Regresyon Analizi.
Sustainable development and digital economy are among the most frequently used concepts in recent years. It is known that the digital economy is one of the factors affecting sustainable development. For this reason, it is necessary to reveal the relationship between these two concepts in various aspects. In this direction, the aim of the study is to reveal the effect of digital economy indicators on sustainable development goals for EU member countries. For this purpose, it is used the "Sustainable Development Goals Index" to represent sustainable development and the "Digital Economy and Society Index" to represent the digital economy for EU member countries. Factor analysis is applied to 17 goals of the sustainable development index. These goals are reduced to four factors and included in the analysis. With the cross-sectional regression analysis, various models related to sustainable development goals are established and meaningful models are interpreted. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that integration of digital technology dimension positively affects sustainable development.Keywords: Digital Economy, Sustainable Development, Factor Analysis, Regression Analysis.
