Akreditasyon, uygunluk değerlendirme kuruluşlarınca (UDK) gerçekleştirilen çalışmaların ve bu çalışmalar sonucunda düzenledikleri uygunluk teyit belgelerinin güvenilirliğini, geçerliliğini desteklemek amacıyla oluşturulmuş bir kalite altyapısıdır. Akredite bir UDK tarafından verilmiş uygunluk belgesine sahip ürün/hizmet, bu ürün/hizmet için uygulanabilir olan gereklilikleri sağlamakta olduğuna dair güven verir ve ticarette teknik engellerin kaldırılmasına katkıda bulunur [1]. Ülkemizde Türk Akreditasyon Kurumu (TÜRKAK) laboratuvar, belgelendirme ve muayene kuruluşları akredite etmek, bu kuruluşlarının belirlenen ulusal ve uluslararası standartlara göre faaliyetlerde bulunmalarını ve bu suretle ürün/hizmet, sistem, personel ve laboratuvar belgelerinin ulusal ve uluslararası alanda kabulünü temin etme görevini yürütmektedir [2]. Bu çalışmada tekstil laboratuvarlarının akreditasyon süreçlerinin TÜRKAK rehber ve formları esas alınarak açıklanması amaçlanmıştır.
Accreditation is a quality infrastructure tool which supports the credibility and value of the work carried out by conformity assessment bodies and thus of the corresponding attestations issued by them. A product or service accompanied by a conformity attestation delivered by an accredited conformity assessment body inspires trust as to the compliance with applicable specified requirements. Thereby accreditation favors the elimination of technical barriers to trade [1]. In our country, the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) is responsible for accrediting laboratory, documentation and inspection bodies according to the national and international standards [2]. In this study, it is aimed to explain the accreditation processes of textile laboratories based on TÜRKAK guidelines and forms.
