Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’nin güneyinde yer alan büyük ölçekli bir üniversitede öğrenim gören öğrencilerin üniversite yaşamına yönelik eğitsel ve sosyal problemleri ile bu problemlerle ilgili temel durumları belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Veriler üniversitenin dört farklı fakültesinde öğrenim gören 49 öğrenciyle gönüllülük esası temelinde üniversite dışında gerçekleştirilen görüşmeler yoluyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış ve görüşmeler ses kayıt cihazı ile kaydedilmiştir. Veriler MaxQda programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin yaşadıkları temel eğitsel ve sosyal problemler üniversitenin araç-gereç donanımı, derslerin mesleğe hazırlama durumu, öğretimsel problemler ve üniversite yaşamına yönelik problemler temaları altında ortaya çıkmıştır.?
The aim of this study is to determine the educational-social problems of students in a large-scale university located in the sought of Turkey. A qualitative case study design was used in the study. The data were collected out of the university through interviews with 49 students from four different faculties. In the interview process, students’ volunteering were taken into consideration. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview form consisting of four open-ended questions and the interviews were recorded through a voice recorder. The data were analyzed through the MaxQda software. As a result of the research, the basic educational and social problems experienced by the students emerged under the theme of equipment of the university, preparation of the courses related to profession, instructional problems and problems related to university life.
