Özet
In this review, giving short information about the definition and historical development of social media
has been aimed, but the primary focus of this review has been emphasizing salient studies about social
media. Social media is not just a tool for organizing, socializing, entertaining, or building community;
it has become a part of our lives today. It also has significant effects on psychology, firm profits, community health, and so on.
