Özet

The aim of this research was to increase the silver extraction rate of the limonite-manganiferous silver ore from Gumuskoy, north western Turkey. The effects of the addition of oxidising agents (air, hydrogen peroxide and gaseous oxygen) on silver leaching were studied. The use of hydrogen peroxide mixed with air increased the rate of silver dissolution and also shortened the leaching time. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
