Subjective evaluation has been supported with objective measurement in order to indicate handle and surface properties of fabrics. The most important analysis that performs to determine fabric touch/handle properties is to determine friction parameters of fabrics. Objective measurements have been generally investigated by Kawabata Evaluation System For Fabrics (KES-F) and Fabric Assurance by Simple Testing (FAST) methods. However, reaching these test methods is not easy and economical. Most of the scientists have estimated by designing different methods. In this study, new test conditions have been prepared by modifying tensile test apparatus. h has tried to set a relation between friction properties and stiffness degree of nonwoven fabric samples. For similar physical properties of fabrics, it has been seen that higher friction coefficient ones has softer stiffness.
