Abstract

In present study, semi-empirical cross-section formula including non-elastic scattering and coulomb effects was modified for the (α,n) reaction. The experimental data being available at literature were used to get the (α,n) reaction cross-section systematics at certain energy. Mass numbers of the target nuclei selected for composing of the systematic are between 41A209. The (α,n) reaction cross-sections  up to 30 MeV incident energies were calculated using ALICE/ASH nuclear reaction model code. In the model calculations, different initial exciton number (p+h) and level density parameter were investigated and the obtained results were compared with the results of semi-empirical cross section formula
