Heavy vehicles mostly rely on mechanical friction brakes. These brakes consist of two functional parts: a steel
rotor (disc or drum) and pads pressed against the rotor to produce the braking force by friction with using
pressure which is applied by a hydraulic or pneumatic circuit. Despite its many advantages in compactness and
effectiveness, friction braking suffers from severe limitations. A contactless brake system using an eddy current
is proposed to overcome the problems. For this purpose, Eddy current brake(ECB) is proposed. ECB is widely
used on various sides of the industry e.g. trucks, air bearings and dynamometer. On our study, a performance
simulation of ECB which connected to a DC motor as a dynamometer order is offered. Input is the current
flowing in the coils and the outputs are torque and speed of shaft
