Özet

Since the colonic J-pouch with a cole-anal anastomosis was first introduced in 1986, many reports have shown the superiority of this design as compared to a "straight" cole-anal anastomosis. These advantages have been demonstrated in retrospective, prospective, and prospectively randomized reports.
