This study was carried out in Turkey to assess the parameters determining the sale or purchase of land by producers. This study was conducted with 409 producers at the start of 2021. The data obtained relate to the socio-economic characteristics of producers. The results obtained from the logistic regression model carried out allow to deduce that the possession or not of a tractor as well as the age of the producer are the main factors determining the sale or purchase of land in Turkey. Since land is an essential production factor for agricultural production, it is therefore important to consider its parameters in the definition of agricultural policies governing land in Turkey.
