Recently, cherries are tended to be grown under subtropical conditions. This experiment is carried out in Adana to see the performances of sweet and sour cherries in mild climates and to see the effects of chemical applications on breaking dormancy of the buds. Stella, Noir de Guben, Van and Bing sweet cherry and Kutahya local sour cherry cultivars were used in the experiments.
