Özet

Beryllium oxide (BeO) ceramics represent an important class of materials noted for their unique optical and electronic properties. Known for its high thermal conductivity, excellent dielectric properties and durability, BeO attracts great interest in various application areas. Particularly in recent years, increasing interest in the luminescence properties of BeO ceramics has further expanded the potential of this material. In this section, a review will be presented on the investigation of the luminescence properties of BeO ceramics and their effects in different application areas. Additionally, synthesis methods, luminescence emissions and characteristics and future research directions of BeO ceramics will also be discussed.
