It is vital to detect the students’ behaviors which can adversely affect the flow oflearning process. Resistance behaviors are among the factors affecting the flow. Itis important to determine these behaviors without mixing them with other behaviorshowever the number of the related studies is restricted. Therefore, it was thoughtthat developing a scale for determining the students’ resistance behaviors couldcontribute to the literature. Accordingly, the aim of the study was to develop sucha scale. The sample of the research consisted of 1082 middle school students incentral towns of Adana within 2017-2018 Education Year. Through thedevelopment of Students’ Resistance Behaviors Scale-Student Form (SRBS-S),exploratory, confirmatory factor analyses and reliability analyses were conducted.At the end of the analyses a scale of 34 items and four dimensions was developedand the Cronbach Alpha values for these dimensions and the whole scale werebetween .78 and .90. Consequently, SRBS-S was found to be a reliable scale to beused to determine students’ resistance behaviors.
