Özet

Aim: Today, atherosclerosis is accepted as an inflammatory disease and serum CRP levels increase in correlation with the severity and extensiveness of atherosclerosis. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between infarct type and extensiveness and serum CRP levels in 55 patients hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit of Adana Numune Hospital for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) between January-July 2000.
