Özet

Malignant struma ovarii is a rare form of the ovarian germ cell tumors. Hence, diagnosis and management of malignant struma ovarii have not been clearly defined. We present the case of a 34-year-old woman with papillary carcinoma arising in struma ovarii. The malignant component of this tumor was detected after laparoscopic removal, and a re-staging operation was performed afterwards. There was no evidence of clinical malignancy or metastases.
