Günümüzde sosyal hayat içerisinde yer alan bireylerin yaşamlarını sürdürebilmeleri büyük ölçüde emek üretim
faktörüne bağlıdır. Bu bağlamda çalışma hakkı yaşama hakkının devamı olarak nitelendirilebilir. Emeği ile
yaşamlarını idame ettiren bireylerin yeteneklerine uygun ve geçimlerini yeterli düzeyde sağlayacak bir işe sahip
olmaları çok önemlidir. Ancak geçici bir süre de olsa bireyin çalışma hayatının dışına itilmesi önemli bir sosyal
risk oluşturur. Bu risk günümüz toplumlarında işsizlik olarak adlandırılır. Literatürde işsizliğe dair birçok tanım
yer almakla birlikte işsiz; çalışma istek ve yeteneğinde olup günün çalışma ve ücret koşullarına göre çalışmak
isteyip de, kendi isteği dışında nedenlerle uygun iş olanağı bulamayan bireylere verilen addır. İşsizliğin teorik
olarak birçok farklı türü mevcuttur. Çalışmamızda bu işsizlik türleri ele alınacak ve ülkemizde uygulanan işsizlik
sigortası fonu ile ilgili güncel bilgiler sunulacaktır.

Turkey’s Unemployement Problem And Unemployement Fund Application
ABSTRACT
The survival of individuals in social life today largely depends on the labor production factor. In this context, the
right to work can be described as the continuation of the right to life. It is very important for individuals who
sustain their lives with their labor to have a job that is suitable for their abilities and that will provide their
livelihoods at an adequate level. However, pushing the individual out of working life, even for a temporary period,
constitutes an important social risk. This risk is called unemployment in today's societies. Although there are many
definitions about unemployment in the literature, unemployed; is the name given to individuals who have the
desire and ability to work and who want to work according to the working and wage conditions of the day and
who cannot find suitable job opportunities for reasons other than their own will. In our study, these types of
unemployment will be discussed and updated information on the unemployment insurance fund implemented in
our country will be presented.
