Advantages of bicycle riding, as a sport tool, in addition to making a contribution to human health, can be ranked as providing provides easier, cheap, comfortable travelling in a non-polluted environment and requiring lower cost thin other transportation modes. In this research it was aimed to evaluate the suitability of 4 routes for bicycle riding in the Upper Northwest Urban Development Area of Adana. In this context, routes were evaluated in terms of 14 criteria that determine level of service. According to evaluation results, level of service of routes, total length is 34,2 kin, changed between 58 to 23 (the highest score of one route is 90). Criterion that limit level of service, was determined as excess of boulevards, avenues and streets that intersect routes, intensity of motor vehicle, deficiency of recreation possibilities oil and around of routes, and difficulties of expropriation of density of private properties.
