Abstract

We describe and evaluate the efficiency of autologous human fibrin glue in multilayered amniotic membran transplantation in a 66-year-old female with a persistent deep corneal ulcer and descemetocele. Defective epithelium of descemetocele was removed; separate and multilayered amniotic membranes were transplanted using autologous human fibrin glue. Finally a large amnion at the top was sutured on the cornea.
