Özet

The purpose of this paper is to determine consumers' tendency to pay extra price for green energy sources, as an addition to the existing figures on their bills. The data is collected from a region that is declared to be the epicenter of electricity production, with most of the population employed in energy sectors, relying on the hypothesis that the people who work in the industry should be responsive to issues regarding energy production and its environmental impact. A conceptual study is proposed based on the environmental concern model. Model is empirically validated by conducting a survey using self-administered questionnaire. Measurements for each construct were adapted from literature.
