To raise awareness of case management and precautions in all healthcare professionals, especially nurses, against COVID-19, which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome and spreads rapidly. The current sources, guides and publications have been reviewed on this subject and screened and related studies have been included. Coronavirus appeared in Wuhan, China's Hubei Province in December 2019. The virus, which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome and spreads rapidly, has become a global public health problem in a short time. It is spread from person to person through direct contact and droplet. Common symptoms in post-infectious cases are fever, cough and respiratory failure. Although it has no medically proven treatment, it has been determined that the antiviral agent with which it responded most was remdesivir. It has been determined that the most effective method of preventing infection is isolation. In addition, nurses should take care of correct, effective and complete use of personal protective equipment in order to protect themselves and patients from the risk of infection. Looking at the current literature, it is known that the most effective method of preventing the spread of epidemic is infection control applications. In addition, nurses should take care of correct, effective and complete use of personal protective equipment to protect themselves and patients from the risk of infection. In-service trainings should be applied to health professionals regarding this situation. In addition, awareness about epidemic, transmission routes and isolation should be created in the society (social media, public spot) through mass media.
