Özet

With his perfect lore, knowing best what is best for his servants' religious and worldly good, Allah, the Almighty, regards the deepest wisdom in his judgements he has made as the Judge. Due to his wisdom, Allah, the Almighty, considers the good of his servants both physically and spiritually both in this World "in the short term" and in the afterlife "in the long term". Adopting the inductive method, one can see that the functional wisdom in question is kept in view in Qur'an and Sunnah. When we regard that the nass are limited but not the cases, when Muslims experience a new problem, it can be possible to reasonably correlate between the revelation and the fact by taking the wisdom into account. Within the tradition of Islamic law, except fort he fisrt three centuries, it seems hard to say that this wisdom -based correlation (with the exception of some mujtahids) has been achieved. This is because interpretation and reasoning of the nass has been mostly literal. Judgement are built on the causes for the sake of stability in law, thus wisdom has mostly been bypassed in anaolgy, an ijtihad method functioning as a judgement extender by appliying the judgement for a familiar case whose judgement is already known to a new case because of the cause similarity between the two.
