Özet

The hematite (α-Fe2O3)  nanostructures with various morphologies were successfully synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis at  200 ͦC  for  12  h.  We used pre-synthesized  CuO nanorods as a  hard template to fabricate hematite nanostructures with different morphologies.  Different amounts of hard template  CuO were used to control the morphologies of the hematite nanostructures.  Hematite nanostructures were synthesized with  10  mg and  40  mg of the hard template of CuO and without the hard template. The as-synthesis nanoparticles were annealed in air at 250 ͦC for 4 hours. These samples were characterized via X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).  The photocatalytic activity of the iron oxide nanostructures was determined by measuring the photo-degradation rate of Rhodamine B under AM 1.5 G solar simulator.
