Abstract

Objective: Oxcarbazepine is used for the treatment of neuropathic pain syndromes. In the present study, we have investigated the effect of oxcarbazepine on the amplitude of compound action potentials (CAP), and the depolarizing after-potentials induced by 4-aminopyridine in the rat sural nerves which plays an important role of the neuropathic pain.
