In recent years, due to the significant increase in the minimum score and prime work criteria for academic assignment and promotion, and the "academic encouragement" payment, the desire of academicians to publish has increased significantly compared to the previous years, and the number of articles sent to both national and international journals has almost increased. Although the main responsibility for honesty in scientific research and publication process is in researchers and writers, additionally supervisors such as referees, editors, universities, institutions to which universities are affiliated and independent courts have great role to prevent ethical violations. The most important measure to be taken is to teach the principles of research and publication ethics as a part of formal education at universities for researchers and writers, and it stands out as the continuation of this education periodically after graduation. The editor and referee staff in scientific journals should be competent in ethical violations, and periodically publish articles or reviews on research and publication ethics. Similar training needs to be done at the same time for university senior management, ethics committees and the institutions to which the universities are affiliated, and the updating of laws and regulations in a way to respond to today's conditions seems necessary to prevent ethical violations.
