Proje Özeti

S2DInTs is a project of 7 Institutions of 4 countries to deal with the issue of digitalization at Schools, following the demanding character of the pandemic and post-pandemic context at Schools. S2DInTs aims to support the achievement of a good digital response at Schools by increasing digital skills of school teachers and students.

The NEEDS ANALYSIS was performed while implementing other activities at Schools that embraced the “Digital Era”. During this analysis and looking at the current context of online activity running at schools in the involved countries, the partners understood that, a mitigation situation was required in order to face the gaps and difficulties of teachers when addressing the e-classrooms, in many cases a new situation for them. Partners realized that addressing teachers and providing them with digital pedagogical instruments, would be a good way to create the desired well-achieved practices in a digital educational context. Teachers are decisive on tackling educational issues and the school good environment (including on rejecting situations where inclusion is not foreseen which grew with the pandemy).

S2DInTs OBJECTIVES are:

- To support the increase of teachers' digital skills, by providing the knowledge and instruments required to promote their eclasses, generating a better, an inclusive and a frienfly learning context in the digital classroom;

- To support School Education to become more inclusive with regards to teachers, by standardizing their digital skills, and to students, by enhancing their participation in e-classes and their equal term access, regardless their disadvantageous

situations;

- To increase teachers’ competencies to understand and to face the transition to the digital classroom, not only from a technical perspective but also from a pedagogical and a human dimension, aware of notions such as digital exclusion or cyber-bullying.
