Abstract:

vra ABSTRACT Water resources system simulation method is used for multipurpose and muWreservoir system optimization. In this study, HEC-5 computer program developed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydrologic Engineering Center is used to determine the operation policy for energy optimization of existing and planned reservoirs in Seyhan and Ceyhan Basins. By using the HEC-5 program, reservoirs on these two basins are examined in terms of system operation of hydroelectric energy production.
