Dr. Öğr. Üyesi ADNAN BATUHAN COŞKUN

Dr. Adnan Batuhan Coşkun completed his bachelor's degree in Nursing at Bozok University in 2014, his master's degree in Child Health and Diseases Nursing at Mersin University in 2018, and his PhD in Nursing at Hasan Kalyoncu University in 2022. His doctoral research focused on developing the Newborn Skin Assessment Attitude Scale and evaluating technology-assisted educational interventions for nurses. He began his academic career as a research assistant at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Hasan Kalyoncu University, in 2019 and served as an Assistant Professor at the same institution between 2023 and 2026. Since April 2026, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Çukurova University. His primary research interests include pediatric and neonatal nursing, neonatal intensive care, family-centered care, atraumatic care, pediatric pain management, chronic disease management in children, psychometric scale development and validation, nursing education, digital health technologies, artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality applications in healthcare. His scholarly contributions include articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference presentations. His methodological expertise encompasses psychometric research, qualitative studies, experimental and correlational research designs, and systematic reviews. He received first-place awards in the methodological research category at international nursing congresses in 2022 and 2025 for research focusing on the development of assessment scales related to neonatal skin care and pediatric atraumatic care, respectively.
